There are very few restaurants on the island of Oshima - despite that, the ones that are there are quite good. This place is at the top of my list. The menu is available in English.The atmosphere is a clean, modern version of traditional Japanese style. Seating is available at traditional floor tables, western style table & chairs or at the bar where you can watch the sushi chef.Every piece of fish was tasty and quite fresh. The Miso soup had tiny clams which gave it a light seafood flare.A few desserts were available, and we opted for the local milk ice cream. Local sauces were available (Island Sauce is a thick vinegar/soy sauce infused with small locally grown peppers).
